ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Xerox (NYSE: XRX) is now the exclusive supplier providing production
printing systems for Compu-Call, Inc. and its national network of resellers.
Through Compu-Call, Xerox will expand its presence in the computer hardware,
software and IT services fields, offering solutions for data center customers
in healthcare, insurance, public sector, financial services and other market segments.
This first-of-a-kind distributor arrangement for production printing systems
builds on Xerox’s well-established office distribution network of authorized sales
agents, dealers and resellers, and Global Imaging Systems (GIS), A Xerox Company.
“Compu-Call’s depth in the marketplace helps us to immediately expand and strengthen
our channel partnerships and distribution,” said Douraid Zaghouani, president,
Channel Partner Operations, Xerox. “We are looking for opportunities to engage
with new partners who can extend the Xerox product and services experience to
their customers.”
Initially, Compu-Call will distribute six Xerox black-and-white cut-sheet production
devices: the Xerox D95/D110/D125 Copier/Printer and D110/D125 Printer and the
Xerox Nuvera 100, Nuvera 120 and Nuvera 144 Digital Production Systems. Xerox
will work directly with the resellers’ end-users to provide service, supplies
and pre- and post-sale analyst support.
“Xerox is the market leader with the broadest portfolio in production printing
and a reputation for elite service,” said Philip Quinn, chief executive officer,
Compu-Call. “With the combination of our value-added distribution services and
Xerox’s offerings, our resellers and their customers can expect premier products
and support that will meet and exceed their printing needs.”
Xerox also sells production printing equipment through its global direct sales
force, GIS, North American Agents Operations and through a reseller, Fujifilm
Graphic Systems.
